Candy Cane Cord is a cool weave that is a lot simpler than it looks. Since it makes a nice thick cord, it is well suited for making bracelets and necklaces. It tends to be on the stiff side as well, but it depends on what AR you are using.
Step 1: Begin by putting four rings onto two open rings.
Step 2: Fold two of the outside rings (red) backwards.
Step 3: Put a ring (blue) through the two rings crossing each other (red) in the bottom right corner.
Step 4: Put another ring (blue) on the opposite corner, also going through the two crossed rings (red). Then squish them flat.
Step 5: Next, put a ring (blue) through the two rings you just put in (red), as well as the two rings that are crossing behind them (red). It will be on one of the corners that you didn't put the last rings on.
Step 6: Do the same thing thing on the opposite corner. In this case it is the bottom left.
Step 7: Squish the rings flat again.
Step 7: Repeat Steps 3 and 4. However, make sure to put the rings on different corners than the rings (silver) a couple of rows back. The silver ones are going through the top and bottom, so these ones need to be on the left and right.
Step 8: Repeat Steps 5 and 6.
Keep repeating this process until the weave is the length you want. Good Luck!
